Dialogue for Dog and Myna Bird Story

"How are you doing, Barkley?" asks Pete.

"I'm doing pretty well," answers Barkley. "But sometimes I have a tendency to bite and growl at other animals, which is a thing we dogs do."

"Well, that's not very nice," says Pete. "You shouldn't bite or growl at others."

"You're scaring me, Barkley!" a cat named Caterina says nervously.

"You're frightening me, too, Barkley!" adds a squirrel named Sylvester.

"I'm so sorry," Barkley tells them. "I'll try hard to break my habit of growling and biting."

"We all forgive you, Barkley," Pete, Caterina, and Sylvester reply.

"I'm glad we can still be best friends!" Pete tells Barkley.
