My Trip to Ocean City

  My Trip to Ocean City

During this covid-19 summer, my family and I were able to spend a lovely vacation in Ocean City for a week in mid-August. We stayed at a beautiful hotel called the Atlantic Oceanfront Inn. Our beautiful room had a kitchenette and a balcony with a pretty view of the beach. Also in the room were a big flat-screen TV, two double-beds each the size of a king, and a pull-out sofa bed. The sofa bed, which I slept in, felt very comfortable for me.

During each afternoon in Ocean City, I would enjoy standing in the ice-cold ocean on the nice, warm beach. The ice-cold waves were powerful enough to hit me and cool me off, while my feet felt the nice, soft sand. In the evenings, my family and I went out to different restaurants including Grotto Pizza (scrumptious pizza). Then after dinner each evening, we stopped to get ice cream for dessert. The flavors of ice cream I would get were cookie-dough and Reese’s peanut butter, which tasted cold and refreshing and yummy! One evening, my family and I even strolled through a park--a nice, peaceful park. In the park, birds would be soaring about, chirping and singing away.

Overall, my favorite part of Ocean City was getting hit by the powerful waves in the ocean blue. This was the time of my life, getting away from home during this pandemic!
